Was in Vancouver for a few days and spent some time testing out the video mode of my 7d. All random stuff, no theme or story; just cut to music. Equipment used: 7D w/ 17-55mm 2.8IS, Glidecam HD-2000, and…….rollerblades :) Color Correction was done in Color and I used the “super-flat” custom profile to help increase the dynamic range for post. 100% 720p 60 conformed to 24p. I included a bunch of clips featuring moire to demonstrate what you can/can’t get away with…
I’ve always enjoyed these fine art pictures, and would really like to try my hand at it. I just don’t seem to have the type of friends who would be down to do this..or maybe I’m just not asking the right people?
I’m probably overqualified for this, but it’s okay, I’ll tone it down a bit for you guys.
So why should I be chosen?
Well, I’m 20 years old. I’m a guy. I snowboard. I can’t get enough of snow. I love it.
I’ve been riding since I was 12 years old, had my first (and only) lesson at Hemlock during Christmas Holidays. From then on, I frequented Cypress and Grouse Mountain before I gradually switched over to Mount Seymour.
Care Bears are awesome.
My dedication and love for snowboarding meant waking up at ungodly hours like 5am to take the bus and seabus just to catch the first shuttle up to Seymour. At 14-15 years of age, that’s pretty serious stuff man.
I love the backcountry and would prefer natural terrain over man made stuff. This doesn’t mean I’ve never been in the terrain park, I may not pull off sick tricks like the others in the terrain park, but I don’t give up, I just give’er.
Of course I want to be involved in the Snow Sports Industry. I look up to people like Scott Serfas, for he’s not only local but shoots some of the best snow stuff out there.
I write my own food blog, 604 Foodtography . I’ve been doing so since February this year, but it’s definitely not my first blog. Who remembers the old days of Expage or Geocities? What about Xanga? Blogspot? Yea, I was on all of them too.
